Audit Committee
Purpose:
To conduct the annual audit of the financial records of OAMR.

Purpose:
This Committee has been consolidated between the Bylaws Committee and the former City Recorder's Procedure Manual Committee. This Committee periodically reviews the OAMR Bylaws and prepares proposed changes to be considered by the membership.

Digital Assets Committee
Purpose:
The Digital Assets Committee (DAC) of the Oregon Association of Municipal Recorders (OAMR) oversees the organization's online presence, including maintaining the website, curating social media content, and ensuring consistent branding across digital platforms. The committee is responsible for developing policies and procedures to guide the management of OAMR's digital assets, ensuring transparency, security, and professionalism. Additionally, the DAC establishes protocols for granting access to designated members, ensuring that only authorized individuals can manage or update the organization’s online platforms. The committee’s efforts focus on enhancing member engagement, sharing timely information, and promoting OAMR’s mission through effective digital communication strategies.

The Events and Fundraising Committee (EFC) plans and supports all aspects of OAMR’s

Membership Committee
Purpose:
The Membership Committee is dedicated to fostering a vibrant and engaged community of municipal recorders by promoting the benefits of membership in OAMR. The committee works to recruit new members, retain existing members, and enhance member engagement through outreach, education, and support.

Mentoring & Retired Clerks Committee
Purpose:
The Oregon Association of Municipal Recorders (OAMR) mentoring program is a valuable resource designed to support new members as they begin their careers. By connecting them with experienced professionals, the program helps build confidence, expand knowledge, and create lasting professional relationships. Mentors offer guidance, answer questions, and introduce mentees to others in the field, making it easier to navigate the responsibilities of the role. These connections not only strengthen individual growth but also help build a stronger, more connected Association.

Purpose:
To provide the membership with a slate of candidates at the annual meeting.

Northwest Clerks Institute Education Committee
Purpose:
Members of this committee are the Chairs of the Education and Professional Development committees and one additional member appointed by the President.
Publications Committee
Purpose:
To preserve the history of the Oregon Association of Municipal Recorders through publishing four quarterly newsletters and one annual scrapbook.

Records & Regulations Committee
Purpose:
The purpose of the Records and Regulations Committee (RRC) is to provide records management information and guidance to OAMR members and to monitor proposed legislation and regulations affecting municipal government. The RRC will maintain working relationships with the League of Oregon Cities (LOC), the Oregon Secretary of State Archives Division, and other government agencies for the purposes of networking, education, and advocacy.

Purpose:
To administer financial aid, in the form of scholarships, to OAMR members who otherwise would not be able to take advantage of educational opportunities.
